THE PART YOU USUALLY DO YOURSELF

Less chasing.
More getting it done.

Give the task to a person. Give the follow-up to ToFinish. Your team stays in Slack, and you stay out of the reminder business.

01 / DELEGATE

The right person.
The actual task.

Your agent finds the teammate, sends the brief, and keeps the owner, deadline, and priority together.

A FEW DETAILS

Before you delegate.

Do I need another account?

Your teammates only need Slack. You use your existing Codex or Claude Code setup. For a new workspace, an admin connects a Slack app and a small hosted service; the agent’s guide walks through both. There is no separate ToFinish account to create.

Does my agent have to stay open?

No. Once a task is created, the hosted ToFinish service handles reminders and Slack replies. Your chat can close. The service needs to keep running.

Can I tell it exactly when to stop?

Yes. Set a cutoff and optionally stop after the owner replies in the task thread or uses a status button. Custom reminders can run every 10 minutes or longer, for up to seven days. You can also pause or cancel a task.

What does it cost to run?

The skill download is free. You bring your agent and hosting. Scheduled reminders use ordinary service code, with no hosted language-model call for each ping. Hosting and any agent subscription remain yours.
